Stamped Concrete

Stamped Concrete is the process of adding texture and color to concrete to make it resemble stone, brick, slate, cobblestone and many other products found in nature including wood, fossils, shells and many more. This limitless array of possibilities combined with great durability and lower cost than natural products makes Stamped Concrete an easy choice for new construction and renovation projects.

Textures & Coloring

Integrally - The color is added to the concrete before it is placed.

Dry Shake Method - Color hardener is added after the concrete is placed, coloring the surface.

Release Agents - Added after the integrally or dry shake methods giving the concrete a second color.

Flatwork

Sidewalks, stairs, porch, patios, garage floors, driveways, and stoops.For exterior concrete flatwork (sidewalks, patios or driveways) texture the concrete surface after the floating operation with a coarse or fine push-broom to give a non-slip surface.

Biography

DC Custom Concrete has over 15 years' experience in concrete. Dustin started as a young boy and was mentored throughout the years. Dustin has worked in many different lines of work, concrete being his favorite. That is why he decided that 2015 was a time for change and he officially started DC Custom Concrete. This is a family run company so you will most likely meet his wife and children on the job site, they are his big helpers. Hopefully one day Dustin's children will be running this company.
